Mediterranean Chicken Meatballs

Serve these chicken meatballs with a side of herb yogurt as an appetizer, or pair them with fresh vegetables and rice for a healthy, hearty dish.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground chicken

1 egg

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 small white onion, diced

¼ cup breadcrumbs

1 tsp dill*

1 ½ tsp oregano*

1 tsp salt

½ tsp ground black pepper

*Herbs can be fresh or dried. If using fresh, double the amount listed.

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.

Using your hands, gently form balls just a bit smaller than golf balls and place them onto a baking sheet.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 16-18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.

Serve warm with your favourite dipping sauces and sides! OH
