No details have been spared in this Niagara River stunner.

The owners of this five bedroom home on the Niagara River had a clear vision of what they wanted. This is their third build and they knew that they wanted the serenity of the river always in sight, whether cooking, enjoying a meal in one of the dining areas or relaxing in the tub.

From floor to ceiling, not a detail has been brushed over in this beautiful build. Sheldon Homes Inc. brought the vision to life and That’s Fab Design worked with the owners to create a complementary colour scheme.

Window dressings by Don Oliver’s Draperies & Decorating Services Ltd. and Persian rugs in soft colours, along with chandeliers, give balance to the straight lines, neutral wall colours and the dark hardwood floors and large Velvet Bianco polished-porcelain tiles by Aristocrat Floors of the World.

A two-storey cast stone fireplace in the home’s great room is immediately visible upon entering through oversize, double front doors by Kingswood Historic Windows & Restoration with security features by Dell Smart Home Solutions. The bright and airy space is furnished with elegant pieces from The Furniture Gallery.

Enns Cabinetry installed the dark-coloured kitchen cabinets, which appear dramatic against walls painted in Benjamin Moore’s Sea Salt available at The Decorating Centres. A huge kitchen island accommodates buffet-style dining for an extended family of 60 on a regular basis and the family can cosy-up by the fire in the lounge nearby (Stamford Fireplaces).

A hardwood staircase by Dekker Stairs Inc. leads to a second-storey walkway with glass railing that appears to float above the open-concept foyer.

The team at Enns Cabinetry worked with the owners to create a dream walk-in closet in the master bedroom suite, along with the bathroom cabinetry.

A 38-foot indoor pool and hot tub are surrounded by large windows that look out onto the backyard and the woods beyond. Exterior touches include a metal turret, custom collector boxes on the downspouts and a Juliet balcony by Coppersmith & Metal Craft Design/ Build.
