THE PLACE: Façade Interiors & Furniture is a home furnishings and full-service design boutique offering everything from living, dining and bedroom furniture to lighting and accessories. Owner and designer Francesca Fregapane opened her store on Walker Road after moving from a smaller location in 2017. After graduating from design school she started her career at the Michigan Design Centre before working in Toronto’s trendy downtown area. Utilizing her extensive experience in designing for new builds, Francesca has helped many of her clients start their journey in the early stages of their new build and worked with them until the final stages of space planning. Façade has always been the type of business that caters to creating unique spaces that clients love coming home to.
THE STYLE: The furniture options are endless. Façade is a retail store as well as a design studio and is open to the public. A wide range of home goods (in an impressive variety of fabrics and styles) is on offer. Whether purchased off the floor or special-ordered for a custom look, Francesca makes sure her customers find the perfect item for their individual tastes. If you’re looking for something specific and you can’t find it, Francesca will work with one of her many suppliers to find it for you. The showroom features several exclusive lines that are made in Canada or North America. The service is so friendly and the showroom so beautiful that customers visit the store every few weeks just to see what’s new. With their unique product lines and design aesthetic, Façade is quickly becoming a popular place to register for bridal showers or buy gifts for family and friends.
WHAT’S HOT: Spring features include larger case goods, such as bookcases and buffets with many finish options as well as bedding, new art, mirrors and lighting.
BEST-SELLERS: The showroom always features a great selection of North American-made seating options in hundreds of configurations and fabric options. The best sellers list includes Canadian-made solid wood dining tables, many stool styles and rugs.
