THE PLACE: Take a glance at Cosentino’s website and you’ll be drooling over the exquisitely outfitted spaces – and that’s before you’ve even had a chance to visit the showroom. From showstopper floor coverings to sleek bathroom countertops and even the kitchen sink, this company with headquarters in Spain produces and distributes the most innovative surfaces on the market. Available in five centres across Canada (Montreal, Stanstead, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver), Cosentino opened its Toronto showroom in the heart of the Design District in 2014. The 10,000 sq. ft. location has since undergone a major renovation and offers a complete showcase of the latest surfacing products.
THE EXPERIENCE: Cosentino’s Toronto showroom features a working kitchen installation that serves as the backdrop for live demonstrations and interactions, as well as a state-of-the-art Sample Selection Centre with LED technology and an online visualizer. “Cosentino’s team of Toronto experts is also on hand to offer information and personalized assistance to customers using interactive technologies that enhance the product selection and customization experience,” says marketing coordinator Camille Vince.
THE STYLE: The Toronto showroom boasts an open, modern space, reflective of Cosentino’s signature contemporary style. Here you’ll find surfacing leaders that help create unique designs for the home, including Dekton (for ultra-compact surfaces), Silestone (for natural quartz) and Sensa (for protected natural stone).
WHAT’S TRENDING: This fall, Cosentino will be launching their new Stonika collection. “It’s comprised of six unique, natural-inspired colours from the Dekton ultra-compact line,” says Camille. “The six shades are part of the Xgloss series, a range that offers high-gloss colours with extraordinary reflectivity with durability.”
TOP PICKS: Cosentino’s bath collection and full-size slab displays allow customers to see for themselves the limitless application possibilities. “The majority of the showroom is outfitted with Dekton and Silestone surfaces from the flooring to the exterior façade, so customers can get an up-close look at unique surface installations,” says Camille.
