What does Foxglove Design offer clients? We offer an opportunity for inspiration and a place to discuss style and design ideas. With many samples in the studio to inspire, it’s especially helpful for those thinking of a custom build. Come in to see our cabinet displays and beautiful working kitchen. We love transforming spaces and working with our amazing clients to make their vision a reality. Let’s start with a complimentary consultation at your home to discuss your project.
What’s trending? Copper fixtures, concrete kitchen and bath sinks, mixing metals, unique details in ceilings, doors and trim, porcelain solid-surface countertops, lighter hardwood flooring, mid-tone woods and wider planks.
Design must-haves? Window coverings with pattern and texture, gold and rose-gold hardware on light cabinetry, sustainable finishes and light, airy spaces.

What’s on-trend right now? Clients are asking for sofas in light fabrics in varying shades of white, beige and light grey, with small amounts of pattern in toss pillows and chairs, and soft prints on drapery. Generally, today’s clients want their homes lighter. Dark stained wood furniture is being used in smaller amounts, and painted pieces have replaced the traditional dark furniture.
Advice for selecting the right pieces? There was a time when our rooms were set a certain way and they remained that way. Now, clients switch out the pillows and accessories for seasons and occasions. The more neutral the main pieces are, the more creative you can be. We always present this to our clients when we begin the process of redesigning a room.
What makes Tapestry Décor unique? We offer full interior design services for new builds and renovations or install drapery and add accessories to an existing space. No matter what the project, we oversee every detail.
What’s your design philosophy? My design philosophy is based on the belief that a well-designed space should embody a design that is timeless, yet striking. It’s unique, luxurious, functional, livable, comfortable and, most importantly, reflects the clients and is welcoming.
What is your favourite design element? To accessorize a home with a client’s meaningful pieces of art or accessories in a way that tells their story and is personal to their home. There are never enough pillows!

Tell us about Gotcha Covered: Gotcha Covered specializes in custom window treatments, bedding and more. We also provide turn-key design packages that help customers completely design, furnish and accessorize any room, from window treatments to rugs, furniture and accessories. Consultations can be done in your home or in the showroom in the Castlefield design district.
How do you work with customers to help them achieve their vision? I love helping customers realize their vision for their space and personalizing it to them. Most people are completely unaware of all the window treatment alternatives available today, and how to leverage and take home décor up a few notches to provide a custom look. While window treatments are our specialty, I find that once I start working with a customer on soft treatments, they want help designing floor plans and picking furniture and accessories to complete the project.
