A Mississauga Condo Interior Design Radiates Luxury
The Presidential Penthouse On Absolute Avenue
A few years ago, the Mississauga landscape underwent a dramatic transformation with the addition of a condominium skyscraper on Absolute Avenue that intrigued locals and visitors alike. Known to locals as the Marilyn Monroe for its voluptuous curves, the 56-storey building was designed by MAD Ltd. and Burka Architects, and built by Fernbrook Homes. Right in the heart of the city, it overlooks Square One Shopping Centre. The building’s release enjoyed immediate success, and not long after the units sold out, Fernbrook initiated the development of a second 50-storey building next door. The two structures now rise from the landscape like a couple mid-dance, earning them the nickname the “condo couple.” Due to its curvaceous design, no two floors of the towers are the same.
One Mississauga homeowner quickly fell in love with the spacious Presidential Penthouse suite when she first visited the dwelling on the 55th floor, where a panoramic view of the Toronto skyline envelopes the penthouse throughout the 2,700 sq. ft. suite.
The unit curves from end to end, and the 667 sq. ft. balcony that hugs the circular walls is accessible from every room. The main living area is located directly off the foyer, and two separate wings on the left and right lead to bedrooms with en suites.
The homeowner worked with Nicola Gillam, owner of Nicola Interiors for the home’s interior design – a 1950s Hollywood glam that radiates luxury throughout the home.
The building’s modern day take of a legendary 1950s beauty icon combines Nicola’s keen interior design sense with stunning natural vistas for an enviable space that our homeowner calls home.
